Make a Living with What You Love

Posted by: Singapore Entrepreneur In: Business in Singapore

We should have something like this in Singapore. Independents Hall is a community of freelancers, independents, work-from-home people, who can use both online as well as real world space for communication, events (social and educational), as well as a physical space to work and collaborate:

The space they provide includes:

* workspaces (desks, tables, chairs, and couches)
* broadband internet (wired and wireless)
* a conference room with professional conference amenities (boardroom table/chairs, digital projector, whiteboard)
* secure equipment storage
* a relaxing and stimulating environment to work
* a support group of interesting, smart, and talented people
* infinite organic networking opportunities
* and much, much more!

It’s like those cubicles startups (or travelling businesspeople) rent, but on steroids. We certainly have enough freelancers, enough young people who are interested in doing something different with their lives to get this going. Will it be profitable? That’s another question- something for the entrepreneur to figure out.

It would be rad to see coworking spread to Singapore! And I invite you to join in the broader worldwide movement and get your own space started up!
