Toyota Fiasco: What would you Do?

Posted by: Singapore Entrepreneur In: Character Building

As my friend continued to shop for her new car, I couldn’t help but think about the problems Toyota has been having. How sad for a company that truly made the best cars in the world for decades. I still remember my Toyota Camry, my Toyota Corolla, and even my relatives’ Toyotas. Their slogan, “I love this car!” was something many Toyota owners truly felt. It wasn’t especially good looking, it had few frills, but it was incredibly dependable and was fantastic on mileage.

Who woulda thunk Toyota would end up in this mess?

And it seems that the worse isn’t over. Repercussions continue with every small problem being completely blown out of proportion by the media.

It got me to thinking- what would I do? What’s the best PR way to handle this? What could have been done better?
