Recruit.net Needs Serious Improvements
Posted by: Singapore Entrepreneur In: Business in Singapore
As an employer, Recruit.net (RCFC) is something I should be interested in, but I’m not. It’s really meant for employees, not employers. So I think the name is a complete misnomer. Employees are not recruiting, employers are!
THE GOOD
They’re trying … (that’s all I have to say)
THE BAD
All in all, Recruit.net is just a content aggregator and because of this, it is annoying to use. Whenever you find a job, for instance, that you may be interested in, it actually belongs to another database and you have to sign up with that. This is not readily apparent to users. Some of the info is from sites like jobsdb- which when I clicked in, showed that they only allow Microsoft Explorer browsers (I am using Firefox)! (Which century are they living in?)
EVEN WORSE: THE UGLY
Many of the links lead to DEAD-ENDS: “Job not found. Return to JobsCentral.”
If you’re in Singapore looking for work in Singapore, you’re better off picking up the newspaper and checking out the classifieds. Much better off. If you’re in Singapore or elsewhere looking for work elsewhere, why would you go to Recruit.net when you can just go to a country-specific jobs database? Are there actually people who just want to search the entire world for work? Maybe there are … which century am I living in?
