It’s not even the end of 2009 yet and so many iconic people have passed away. With the passing of both Eunice and Ted Kennedy, it also signals the end of an era where ideals of country before self reigned supreme. What an incredible family that truly made a positive difference in people’s lives- all around the globe, not just in America.
No one can deny that the Kennedy’s gave the world “a message of hope, a message of victory” and while the siblings have gone, their legacy, especially that of the Special Olympics will definitely live on.
